The e-Reminder Cap, developed by eGuardian, and its corresponding app make it easy for users to fill in medication details and set reminders. The NFC technology enables user protection and ensures the correct medication upon opening the bottle. Even without the app, the child-resistant packaging has a two-fold function, ensuring children won’t open the bottle and the other keeping track of the number of times the patient has taken the medication.
